The residential program provides 24 hour structured and supervised environment. This program provides an intensive therapeutic setting with a holistic approach. Program components include education groups, individual sessions, group and family therapy, chemical dependency and spiritual counseling, weekly chapel services, relaxation and leisure activities, and physical exercise classes. We offer a 28 and a 56-day program dependent on the client’s therapeutic needs.
The transitional program is a step-down program from residential that provides a client with a “transition” from a highly structured environment to a less structured environment. This program provides the client with the guidance and support to learn how to structure and schedule their new life from a recovery. An Intensive Outpatient Program is provided 5 days a week from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Individual therapy is also offered for clients as an additional service. Clients are required to attend AA/NA meetings daily, work with a sponsor and are subject to random drug screens. This 28 -day program can be extended based on the clients' therapeutic needs.
Sober living is the third stage of the continuum of care. This program provides the client with the independence to begin living a sober life in a supportive environment with other women in recovery. Clients are required to have their own transportation, gain employment, attend daily 12-Step meetings and are subject to random drug screens.
Our intensive outpatient program provides weekly educational/therapeutic classes Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Clients appropriate for this program are women currently in Transitional Care, and women who have recently discharged from a residential program. The program focus is relapse prevention and reinforcement of the principles learned in the residential program. Clients who attend the Intensive Outpatient Program may request individual therapy as an additional service.
Weekly After-Care meetings are provided without charge for any Covenant Hills' alumni. This is a support group which emphasizes the challenges of maintaining sobriety post-treatment.
